Safeguarding
At Pepper Hill School we provide outstanding pastoral care and wellbeing support for all children in our care. Our aim is to make sure our children feel safe and secure both inside school and at home. The staff work together as a family to make sure that our pupil's wellbeing is our top priority.
At Pepper Hill the health and safety of all children is of paramount importance. Parents send their children to school each day with the expectation that school provides a secure environment in which their children can flourish. At Pepper Hill School staff work in close partnership with parents to ensure that this expectation becomes reality. The school will follow the guidance and legislation set out by the DFE, which includes the guidance set out in Keeping Children Safe in Education.
To enable the school to ensure that all pupils are safe all members of staff and volunteers are subject to DBS checks and have regular training to update knowledge, understanding and awareness of safeguarding and child protection issues. We also ensure that we are following latest guidance and policy relating to staff recruitment.
If you have any concerns relating to Safeguarding or Child Protection please contact: Mrs Carter on 01908 221242 or email ccarter@stantonschoolmk.org.uk
Our policy is reviewed annually, shared with all staff and governors and can be viewed below.
